A Place Where Belonging Begins
Nestled in nature and built on connection, Hidden Valley Early Learning is more than just a childcare centre – it’s a warm and welcoming space where children feel safe, seen, and supported every step of the way.
About our service.
Hidden Valley Early Learning is conveniently located in the heart of Edens Landing. The Centre is nestled in the beautiful Edens parklands where our natural outdoor environment is an extension to our six beautiful rooms.
Hidden Valley Early Learning offers a friendly and homely childcare centre, focusing on family values, individual children’s learning and growth, and high quality care in early education.
Our centre has its own unique personality, giving families the opportunity to choose one that aligns with them and their needs.

My Personal Philosophy – Kylie Pick
As an early childhood professional and Centre Director, I believe in creating a space where children feel safe, seen, loved, and inspired to explore the world around them. For me, a childcare centre should feel like an extension of home, a place where families are welcomed with open arms, and every child is valued for who they are.
I’m passionate about play-based learning and believe deeply in the power of curiosity, creativity, and connection. I love seeing children light up when they discover something new, whether it’s through sensory play, storytelling, nature walks, or moments of shared laughter with peers. Every child brings their own story, and it’s our role to listen, support, and guide them with kindness and intention.
Relationships are at the heart of everything I do with children, families, and our incredible team. I strive to lead with transparency, warmth, and consistency, and I’m committed to building strong partnerships with families built on trust, respect, and shared goals. I truly believe that when families and educators work together, amazing things happen.
I value inclusion and am passionate about creating a space where everyone feels they belong, no matter their background, culture, or ability. Every child and family should feel respected, represented, and celebrated within our service. We aim to ensure that diversity is reflected in our environments, resources, celebrations, and everyday practice.
Connecting with our local community is also something I hold close to my heart, from engaging in local events and inviting community members into our space, to embedding cultural understanding and reconciliation into our daily rhythm. I believe these connections give children a deeper sense of identity, belonging, and pride in where they come from.
Sustainability, cultural awareness, and meaningful learning experiences are also key drivers in our practice. I’m always reflecting, growing, and learning both as a leader and as a person, and I bring that same mindset into our service culture.
My vision is for Hidden Valley Early Learning to be a place where every child is educated, loved, included, and empowered, where our team feels proud and supported, and where families and community feel they truly belong.
Our Rooms.
Borobi Room
Our Borobi Room is where the journey begins for our youngest little learners. With a caring 1:4 ratio, we focus on creating a calm, nurturing environment where babies feel safe, secure, and truly loved. This space is all about building strong, trusting relationships and helping each child feel a real sense of belonging here at Hidden Valley Early Learning.
Our educators are gentle, responsive, and tuned in to each child’s needs, supporting their development during this amazing time of rapid growth. With lots of cuddles, play-based learning, and encouragement, we guide them as they reach their early milestones and start exploring the world around them.
Murun Room
Our Murun Room is designed for our curious, busy toddlers who are eager to explore and make sense of the world around them. With a nurturing 1:4 ratio, our educators provide the calm, consistent support toddlers need as they continue to build confidence, independence, and strong connections.
The Murun team is passionate, patient, and full of energy – always ready to guide little hands and growing minds through meaningful play and real-life experiences. We focus on building routines, encouraging self-help skills, and supporting each child’s communication and emotional development. In this stage, where big feelings and big learning happen side by side, we create a safe, loving space where children feel seen, heard, and celebrated every step of the way.
Guwan Room
Our Guwan Room is full of energy, laughter, and growing independence. With a supportive 1:5 ratio, this space is designed for our adventurous children who are finding their voice, testing boundaries, and learning how to navigate the world around them.
The educators in Guwan are calm, patient, and deeply in tune with the children’s needs. They create a warm, welcoming environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and connection. At this stage, we focus on social development, emotional regulation, toilet training, and building the foundations for friendships.
Through play-based learning, hands-on experiences, and meaningful routines, children in the Guwan Room are supported to express themselves, explore their interests, and grow into capable, confident little learners.
Muni Room
Our Muni Room is all about supporting children to discover who they are and feel confident in expressing themselves. With a 1:11 ratio, our educators focus on building strong, trusting relationships to help each child feel safe, valued, and proud of their unique identity.
This is such an exciting stage of learning – full of big ideas, growing independence, and a hunger to explore. Our Muni environment blends indoor and outdoor play, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and imagination. Whether it’s through language-rich experiences, collaborative play, or quiet reflection, we support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development in a way that feels fun, meaningful, and full of joy.
The Muni Room lays a strong foundation for future learning, with a focus on wellbeing, confidence, and curiosity.
Nabei Jarjumm Room
Our Narbei Jarjumms Room is where confident learners thrive as they prepare for their next big step – school. Led by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher and supported by experienced educators, our Kindergarten program offers play-based learning each week, designed to build the skills and confidence children need for a smooth transition to Prep.
In this integrated 4–5-year-old space, we focus on supporting independence, emotional regulation, friendships, and problem-solving through engaging and meaningful experiences. With a mix of structured routines, intentional teaching moments, and plenty of time for indoor and outdoor play, children are encouraged to follow their interests, explore ideas, and grow in all areas of development.
The Narbei Jarjumms Room is all about empowering children to be curious, capable, and ready for the world beyond early learning.
Wajin Room - Before & After School Care / Vacation Care
Our Wajin Room provides a safe, relaxed, and fun space for school-aged children to unwind, connect with friends, and enjoy their time before and after school, as well as during the school holidays. With a 1:15 ratio, our educators are there to support each child’s wellbeing, interests, and independence in a way that feels both engaging and respectful of their growing autonomy.
We know that older children still need care, guidance, and positive role models – and that’s exactly what our team provides. Whether it’s through creative projects, outdoor games, quiet time, or group activities, the Wajin Room is a place where children feel supported, heard, and encouraged to be themselves.
During Vacation Care, we offer a variety of exciting experiences and excursions designed to keep children active, social, and learning in ways that are fun and meaningful.
